In short

From condensed milk to glass jars

  1. More than 25 years

    Condensed milk

The company starts with sweetened condensed milk, a product of exact process and strict hygiene. Written procedures and batch records become the habit of the house.

  2. 24 September 2024

    Two certified systems

Food safety management to ISO 22000 and quality management to ISO 9001, certified by Ukrsertyfikatsiia for both production sites, valid until 23 September 2027.

  3. Recent years

    Vegetable and fruit preserves

Sterilised vegetables, sauces, tomato products and jam under the M.A.D.E.S.A and MIRASA brands: 27 products in glass from 480 g to 3 kg and tomato paste in a 5 kg pail.

Twenty-five years of condensed milk

MADESA began with condensed milk and has made it for twenty-five years: sweetened, flavoured, caramelised, with cocoa, the types named in our certification scope. It is a product that depends on exact process and strict hygiene. A small deviation does not show on the day it is made; it shows months later, on the shelf.

Working to that tolerance for a quarter of a century shaped the habits of the company. Written procedures. Clean lines. Measured steps. A record for every batch, kept whether or not anyone asks for it.

Dairy remains part of what we do and part of our certification scope. Details of the condensed milk range are available on request.

A second chapter, in glass

In the last two years we added vegetable and fruit preserves. The range now counts 27 products under two brands: M.A.D.E.S.A for sauces, ready vegetable dishes, ikra and tomato products; MIRASA for pickles, beans, mushrooms, jam and juice. Everything goes into glass, from 480 g jars for the retail shelf to 3 kg jars for professional kitchens, with tomato paste also in a 5 kg pail.

The method is the one the dairy years taught us: shelf life comes from sterilisation, not from additives. 24 of the 27 products are made with no added preservatives. The three exceptions are stated on the label and on the product page: the 5 kg pasteurised tomato paste contains ascorbic acid; the two olives contain potassium sorbate.

We are equally plain about origin. The tomato raw material for our paste comes from Türkiye and is processed in Chyhyryn. The olives are made in Türkiye and packed at our site, and the label says so.

How we work

Four things we hold to, whichever jar you pick up: the 480 g jar on a shelf or the 5 kg pail in a kitchen.

None of them is a slogan. Each one can be checked against a label, a certificate or a reply from us.

Where we make it

Two sites in Cherkasy Oblast

  • Chyhyryn production site

8 Shevchenka Street, Chyhyryn, Cherkasy Oblast, 20901, Ukraine

The site where our vegetable and fruit preserves are made; the catalogue names this address as the place of production. Intake, preparation, filling, sterilisation, inspection and storage are all here. The olives are also packed at this site.

  • Chornobai production site

177 Tsentralna Street, Chornobai, Zolotonosha District, Cherkasy Oblast, 19901, Ukraine

The second site within the scope of our ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 certification, listed alongside Chyhyryn and included in surveillance audits. Details of this site are available on request.

  • 01

    Sterilisation, not preservatives

Heat treatment above 100 °C in a sealed jar is what gives our products their shelf life. For 24 of 27 products that is the whole method. Where an additive is used, it is named on the label and on the product page.

  • 02

One standard, from 480 g to 5 kg

A 3 kg jar for a kitchen and a 480 g jar for a shelf are made under the same ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 systems, with the same records. The format changes; the control points do not.

  • 03

    Documents and traceability

Product specifications, label texts and certificates exist before you ask for them. Every batch can be traced from intake to dispatch, as the food safety system requires.
